Why Thara’ uses cotton with just the right stretch?
Share
At Thara’, we believe that the clothes closest to your skin should feel like they belong there, natural, effortless, and honest. That belief is at the heart of every piece we make.
From the beginning, we knew our basics had to be built on something real. So we chose cotton, which is clean, breathable, and kind to the skin.
But comfort isn’t just about softness. It’s also about how something moves with you, how it holds its shape, how it feels at the end of a long day. That’s why, in some of our fitted pieces like the Base Tee, we include a small amount of Lycra. Just enough to support your body, never to suffocate it.
Cotton First. Always.
Every piece in our collection starts with cotton. Not polyester. Not nylon. Not blends that look natural on the label but feel synthetic on the skin.
In styles where we want that extra flexibility like fitted tees, we add Lycra thoughtfully. Just a touch. So your clothes stretch where you move, stay in place, and still feel like cotton at the core.
We’re not trying to make performance wear. We’re making everyday pieces that breathe, bend, and belong.
No to Hidden Synthetics
We don’t believe in shortcuts. And we don’t believe in hiding things in the label.
That’s why you won’t find polyester marketed as “soft” in our fabrics. No sneaky linings. No blends that irritate or trap heat. When we include Lycra, we say so clearly, and for a reason.
Transparency matters. You deserve to know exactly what you’re putting on your skin.
Made to Feel Right
Some days, you’ll reach for something oversized and airy, like the Moody Tee. Other days, you’ll want something that hugs in the right places, like the Base Tee.
Whichever piece you choose, you’ll find the same things: clean fabric, intentional design, and a softness that feels personal.
Because modest wear isn’t about restriction. It’s about wearing what feels right for your body, your values, and your day.
